Slaughterhouse-Five

Billy came unstuck in time. Grief does exactly this and Vonnegut drew the map.

Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt. Gravestone poetry I refuse to agree with quietly.

The firebombing of Dresden took one sentence to describe and a lifetime to survive.

The Tralfamadorians see all time at once. I read this whole book as a grief manual.

Kilgore Trout's novels, the worst sci-fi writer in the universe wrote better plots than reality.

The bird says poo-tee-weet. There is nothing intelligent to say after a massacre. The book keeps its word.

Blue ivory high school geometry and a war in the same breath. Vonnegut never let horror stand alone.

Free will may not exist, but kindness does. I chose to be kind twice today because of this book.

Anti-war book as impossible as antiglacier. It still moved me a few inches.
